Arsenal could miss out on signing Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak this summer due to owner Stan Kroenke, according to Daily Mail.
The Gunners have lacked a consistent goalscoring striker in the squad and this has contributed to their mixed campaign in the Premier League.
The club are unlikely to find a solution in the ongoing transfer window and may have to wait until the summer to make a marquee addition.
Isak has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium, but it is reported that he could cost as much as £120m over the summer.
Kroenke has no plans of sanctioning such an outlay for the Swede. A deal could depend on a significant exit in the same transfer window.
Arsenal have no concerns over PSR spending limits at the moment, but they prefer to stay in the safe zone without overspending on top targets.
The club have not ruled out signing an alternative striker.
