Arsenal reportedly want to “break the transfer market” by completing a blockbuster deal for Paris Saint-Germain superstar Khvicha Kvaratskhelia this summer.

Mikel Arteta’s side are expected to sign a new left winger ahead of the 2026-27 season, amid rumours that Gabriel Martinelli or Leandro Trossard may depart, and Kvaratskhelia has now emerged as their latest target for the role.

FootballTransfers has been informed that initial talks with the representatives of AC Milan forward Rafael Leao have taken place, although Arsenal have also been linked with both Nico Williams (Athletic Club) and Anthony Gordon (Newcastle United), in addition to several other wingers, in recent weeks.

Spanish outlet Fichajes now report that Arsenal want to finalise a transfer for Kvaratskhelia, who could be set to leave PSG this summer.

Rumours in the French media suggest that Kvaratskhelia’s team-mate aren’t pleased with his current form and while he is yet to express a desire to leave, the Georgia international could be on the move later this year.

Verdict: Will Khvicha Kvaratskhelia join Arsenal?

Arsenal have been linked with a move for fellow PSG attacker Ousmane Dembele in recent weeks, however they have now added Kvaratskhelia to their transfer radar as they look to bolster the first-team options available at the Emirates Stadium.

It’s claimed that Arteta would love to finalise a deal for the 25-year-old, while the Arsenal hierarchy are reportedly ready to bring a superstar forward to the club to elevate the team to another level.

However, Kvaratskhelia’s Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €108.7 million and with a contract that runs until 2029, Arsenal will be forced to pay a huge transfer fee in order to secure his signature this summer.

Kvaratskhelia has scored nine goals and provided six assists in 34 appearances across all competitions so far this season, and Arsenal view him as a player who would greatly improve the attacking options available to Arteta.

The Gunners are also expected to pursue a new centre forward ahead of 2026-27, with the club earmarking Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez as a top target amid rumours that Gabriel Jesus will be sold this summer.
