Arsenal are interested in signing Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane on a free transfer, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The Gunners are preparing for a busy summer transfer window. A marquee striker is expected to be a priority for the London giants.
The club have entered talks with the representative of Viktor Gyokeres and they seem confident of landing the Sporting CP star.
Arsenal are also eyeing a versatile winger and Plettenberg reports that the club have held fresh talks with Sane over a Bosman transfer.
The German’s current deal with Bayern expires at the end of June and reports claim that he has yet to agree terms over a possible renewal.
Arsenal are keen on bringing him to the Premier League and they will be aiming to negotiate a pre-contract ahead of a summer switch.
Sane had a good relationship with manager Mikel Arteta when he was Manchester City’s assistant. A reunion could be on the cards.
