Arsenal are aiming to sign Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane on a free transfer later this year, according to Bild.

The Gunners are preparing for a busy summer transfer window and they could make several signings to bolster the squad.

A versatile winger could be among the priorities and Bild claim that Sane could arrive on a free transfer agreement.

Sane’s contract with Bayern expires at the end of the season and as things stand, the club are yet to extend his stay.

The attacker is willing to accept a reduction on his £16.8m annual wages, but Bayern are yet to decide on his future.

This could lead to his free transfer exit and reports claim that Arsenal are specifically interested in recruiting him.

Arsenal are long-term admirers of the 29-year-old and could do with his experience on the right and left wing.

Sane has 12 goal contributions from less than 1800 minutes this term. He has been a regular off the bench for Bayern.
