Arsenal’s top 10 all-time record goalscorers

Thierry Henry is Arsenal’s record goalscorer with 228 goals in 377 appearances for the north London outfit.

The Frenchman was instrumental to Arsenal’s success in the early 2000s, while he has the seventh-highest tally of Premier League goals in the competition’s history.

Ian Wright is the Gunners’ second-highest goalscorer of all time. He netted 185 goals in 288 games for the club between 1991 and 1998. Henry overtook Wright with a brace against Sparta Praha in 2005.

Cliff Bastin is third on the list thanks to his tally of 178 strikes in 396 matches. He was a key member of Herbert Chapman’s legendary Arsenal side and Bastin became the youngest player to win a league title, the FA Cup and play for England during his time with the Gunners.

The fourth-highest goalscorer in Arsenal history is John Radford. The Englishman joined the club as an apprentice and he became the youngest player to score a hat-trick for the Gunners in 1965 (17 years and 315 days old). He ended his Arsenal career with 149 goals in 481 appearances.

Ted Drake and Jimmy Brain share fifth place with 139 Arsenal goals apiece, while Doug Lishman is seventh with 137 strikes. Robin van Persie is Arsenal’s eighth-highest goalscorer of all time, netting 132 times before controversially joining Manchester United in 2012.

Joe Hulme (125 goals) and David Jack (124 goals) complete the top 10.
