In the space of a few minutes in the Round 6 clash at LOSC’s Stade Pierre Mauroy on Tuesday, Marshall Munetsi provided two assists: first with a header and then with a beautiful through-ball, to help Stade de Reims stage an upset 2-1 victory in Lille. It was his first double in 108 Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches.
The midfielder now totals three assists for the season, and sits in fifth place on the assists chart – which just saw leader Caio Henrique of AS Monaco sustain an injury – a huge jump from 45th in the space of one match!
The Zimbabwean has already provided as many assists after six rounds as he did last season.
