The Atalanta injury crisis finally seems to be abating, as Gianluca Scamacca, Giorgio Scalvini, Charles De Ketelaere and Nicola Zalewski are back in action.

La Dea struggled with numerous absentees so far this season, but still managed some strong results, with three wins, four draws and one defeat between Serie A and the Champions League.

Ahead of the upcoming clashes with Lazio and Slavia Praha, there is a boost from the treatment room for coach Ivan Juric.

De Ketelaere already made his comeback for international duty with Belgium and is therefore fully recovered.

Meanwhile, Scalvini, Zalewski and centre-forward Scamacca all participated in full training with the rest of their teammates today.

Both Scamacca and Scalvini were dealing with repercussions following knee surgery.

Marten de Roon also returns to the squad after his one-match Serie A ban was completed.

There are still some long-term absentees like Sead Kolasinac and Mitchel Bakker, while Odilon Kossounou and Raoul Bellanova are on the road to recovery, hoping to be on the bench next Wednesday for the Champions League.
