Bakayoko a doubt for Leipzig’s trip to Augsburg

Leipzig’s coach revealed during his press conference that the Belgian winger may not feature against the Bavarians.

There’s some slight concern for RB Leipzig’s Johan Bakayoko who suffered a blow to his calf during training, coach Ole Werner confirmed.

Whether the Belgian winger is available for the match in Augsburg depends on tomorrow’s final training session.

The 22-year-old has been an influential cog in the Lower Saxony club’s attack, registering 2 goals in his seven Bundesliga outings. 

There was some positive news however, as Max Finkgräfe is back in full training and could become a possible option again next week. 

Whether he’ll travel to Augsburg will also be decided after the final training session, but a return for the ex-Köln man in expected soon.
