Balotelli, Fila and Radu set for promising deadline day Venezia moves on February 3

According to Sky Sport Italia, Mario Balotelli could continue his Serie A career with Venezia after being frozen out at Genoa, joining Daniel Fila from Slavia Prague and Ionut Radu.

Genoa had confirmed that Balotelli was looking for a new club after making only a handful of brief substitute appearances since arriving as a free agent in October 2024.

He had signed when Alberto Gilardino was the coach, but the situation changed a few days later when Patrick Vieira was brought in, as the pair already had a history.

Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Venezia are ready to welcome Balotelli to the Stadio Penzo on deadline day.

They need at least one new striker, because Joel Pohjanpalo completed his medical tests for the transfer to Serie B side Palermo today.

Venezia are also reportedly on the verge of securing centre-forward Daniel Fila from Slavia Prague.

Meanwhile, after Filip Stankovic suffered a potentially serious knee injury, the Lagunari are also in intensive talks to sign Inter-owned goalkeeper Ionut Radu.
