Barcelona keen on signing 23-year-old Arsenal winger?

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli during the winter transfer window.

The Brazil international had a frustrating 2024/25 campaign with the Gunners. He was largely inconsistent but still finished with 10 goals and six assists.

Sport now claim that Barcelona are aiming to bolster the left side of their attack. Luis Diaz and Marcus Rashford are considered as top targets.

If the Blaugrana fail to sign either player, the Catalan giants could turn their attention to Martinelli. Arsenal could be tempted to cash in on him.

The Gunners are in the transfer market for a marquee winger and it has been claimed that this could coincide with Martinelli heading for an exit.

Arsenal value him at more than £50 million, considering he is only 23 and has huge potential. AC Milan have also been credited with an interest.

Arsenal have no stand-out targets at the moment, but it is well known that they have been following Athletic star Nico Williams for some time.
