TSG Hoffenheim have apparently been hit by an injury blow.

Bild and Kicker both report that the Bundesliga club’s first-choice goalkeeper, Oliver Baumann, has suffered a foot injury that will keep him out for a while.

The 34-year-old is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks, meaning he could miss Germany’s matches against Italy in March.

Luca Philipp is ready to step in for Baumann for Hoffenheim until further notice.

Die Kraichgauer take on Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.
