Here’s what Bayern’s CEO had to say in a recent interview.

Speaking to FCBinside, Bayern Munich’s Jan-Christian Dreesen remained coy on their pursuit of Nick Woltemade and if they’ll improve their bid.

“We have a situation that has been talked about often enough. We made an offer. That hasn’t led to any discussions to date – And we don’t understand that.

“I’ve said elsewhere that I don’t like to talk about players of other clubs, and Nick Woltemade is currently a player of VfB Stuttgart. We’ll see how things develop”

“I must explicitly say that this is certainly also the task of my esteemed colleague Max Eberl, together with Christoph Freund,” the Bavarians’ CEO explained.

The 57-year-old refused to confirm of deny whether Die Rekordmeister will dip back into the transfer market this summer to further bolster their squad.

“The transfer window is still open until 31 August. We made a statement with Luis Díaz, one of the best wingers in the Premier League. We have a really good team for the new season,” he added.
