Bayern boss does not rule out further transfers

Christoph Freund is not ruling out further transfer activity at Bayern Munich before the window closes on Friday.

Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund has left it open whether the Bavarians will make any further transfer moves before the window closes on Friday.

“The transfer window is still open. A lot has happened in football. That’s why I’m not ruling anything out,” Freund said on the sidelines of his former employers RB Salzburg’s Champions League qualifier against Dynamo Kiev.

The Bavarians have been linked with Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah all summer, and while a move seems unlikely at this stage, it’s not completely out of the question, Sky Germany reported recently.

In terms of possible departures, Kingslkey Coman could leave the club before the transfer deadline, with Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal said to have made an offer for the Frenchman and Premier League clubs also monitoring his situation.

Bayern have previously signed Michael Olise, Joao Palhinha and Hiroki Ito for a total of €127.5 million.

On the departure side, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraou have joined Manchester United for  €60 million plus €10 million in bonuses. 

Malik Tilllman’s loan move to PSV has been made permanent for €12 million, while youngsters Frans Krätzig, Bruyan Zaragoza, Paul Wanner, Armando Sieb and Lovro Zvonarek have all left on loan.
