Reports in Italy claim that Bayern Munich are interested in securing a sensational comeback for their former youth-team player and current Juventus star Kenan Yildiz, as well as former Next Gen defender Dean Huijsen, who is expected to be sold on for a significant profit in the summer transfer window.

According to reports from Tuttosport, Bayern are keen on the idea of bringing Yildiz back to Bavaria after a three-year spell in Turin with Juventus. The Turkey international was born in Regensburg and spent a decade in Bayern’s youth system before joining the Old Lady at the end of his contract in 2022.

Bayern’s, as things stand, are interested in Yildiz, but have not made any type of formal approach to Juventus, nor to the player’s representatives.

Wednesday’s report indicates that Juventus have no interest in selling, particularly if Champions League qualification is secured, although there are suggestions that the situation could change if the Bianconeri do not finish the 2024-25 season in the top four.

Yildiz himself, is keen on staying put with Juventus, according to Wednesday’s report.

Bayern are also interested in another former Juventus player in Dean Huijsen, who spent the second half of the 2023-24 season out on loan with Roma before being sold to AFC Bournemouth during the summer transfer window.

Juve let Huijsen leave for a fee of €15.2m plus up to €3m in bonuses, and it is now being reported that the 20-year-old could be sold for three or four times more in the summer of 2025.
