Michael Olise has established himself as a key player for Bayern Munich after joining from Crystal Palace for a reported €53 million fee in the summer of 2024.

After an impressive debut season in Germany, the Frenchman has continued his fine form this campaign, racking up 13 goals and 20 assists in 28 games across all competitions.

Olise’s performances have attracted attention from other top European clubs, and even though he is under contract until 2029, Bayern are keen to tie him down to a new, even longer contract, according to Sport Bild.

The German sports magazine reports that the club hopes to finalise a contract extension for the 24-year-old before he’ll link up with the French national team for this summer’s World Cup.

In total, Olise has scored 33 goals and laid on 43 assists in 83 games for Bayern.
