Bayern promptly reject Milan’s interest in Stanišić – Sky Germany

AC Milan have registered concrete interest in Josip Stanišić, but a prompt rejection followed from Bayern Munich.

Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports that the 25-year-old will remain at Bayern with the 2025/26 campaign just around the corner. 

All other inquiries have also been declined. He plays an important role under Vincent Kompany and features regularly.

Furthermore, the right full-back is highly versatile, and offers the Bavarian giants cover at centre-half and left-back in emergencies. 

Stanišić, who rose through the Bayern youth academy, burst into the reigning Bundesliga champions’ first team in 2021. 

The German-born Croatian has over 24 international caps and his contract with Bayern runs until 2029.
