Die Rekordmeister could be reluctant to submit a further offer for the Stuttgart star.

Rumours suggest Bayern Munich is not planning to submit a third written offer for Nick Woltemade for the time being.

As BILD reports, they intend to take “thoroughly considered steps” in the coming days to secure a meeting with Stuttgart’s management.

The Bavarian giants are only willing to do so if the Swabians are at least willing to talk if a €65million transfer fee is on the table.

Bayern, as agent Danny Bachmann revealed yesterday, recently offered a Bundesliga record transfer fee of €55 million for Woltemade – VfB declined.

The 23-year-old, who joined from Werder Bremen on a free transfer last summer, has a contract until 2028 with no pressure to sell.

What’s clear, however, is Woltemade’s desperation to join Bayern, whom he long since reached an agreement with the Munich club.

According to the ‘tz’ newspaper, coach Vincent Kompany is already committed to the attacker but negotiations over a fee are proving difficult.
