Sky Germany reports that Sven Ulreich and Bayern Munich have reached a verbal agreement on a new contract.
Sven Ulreich is set to stay at Bayern Munich beyond the end of the season, when his current deal expires.
According to Sky Germany, the final details have been agreed between the player and the club, with a verbal agreement in place for a one-year extension until 2026.
The 36-year-old is expected to serve as Bayern’s third-choice goalkeeper next season, behind Manuel Neuer and Jonas Urbig.
Meanwhile, Daniel Peretz is likely to leave the club, with Bayern currently in talks with PSV Eindhoven over a loan deal that includes a purchase option.
Despite never being Bayern’s first-choice goalkeeper, Ulreich has made 103 appearances for the club during the nine seasons he has spent in Munich.
