The transfer saga over Bayern Munich and Nick Woltemade continues.

As of today, August 13, Bayern Munich submitted a new offer for Nick Woltemade, according to Sky Germany’s sources.

Florian Plettenberg reports that the new offer amassed to €60million plus bonus payments and a sell-on clause.

However, VfB Stuttgart rejected it, even though the player’s camp believed the package would be sufficient.

The Swabian club went a step further and demanded €75million from Bayern today — something the Bundesliga champions will not do.

Woltemade’s agent, Danny Bachmann, shed some light on the Bavarian club’s latest bid which they decided to turn down.

“The solution demanded by Mr Wehrle this week, within the framework of a questionable deadline, was today delivered as a complete package from the interested party and the player’s side together, amounting to more than €60 million plus a sell-on clause.

“The supervisory board’s response – demanding an unrealistic €75million for a player who joined on a free transfer but with a salary classification in the lower midfield.

“It not only lacks any basis, especially for a domestic transfer, but is also in stark contradiction to previous agreements,” said Bachmann.
