Beşiktaş table €12m offer for Augsburg’s Kömür

The Turkish Süper Lig side have supposedly already had a first bid turned down and have since submitted an improved second one.

Besiktas are pushing for a surprise move for Mert Kömür and will hope to lure him away from FC Augsburg until Deadline Day. 

According to Sky Germany, an official bid worth €10million was submitted but was subsequently rejected by the Bundesliga side.

Augsburg dealt with the offer after their 2-1 Victor over St.Pauli yesterday, in which Kömür was an unused substitute on the bench.

Sky later reported that the Turkish Süper Lig side proceeded to table a €12million bid – Augsburg have not rejected it yet. 

It’s believed that internal discussions are ongoing behind the scenes at the Bavarian club to see if accepting the offer is viable.

The pay-TV channel also notes that top unnamed clubs from Italy’s Serie A are also keen on the 20-year-old.

So far this Bundesliga campaign, Kömür has chipped in with 2 goals and 3 assists in 17 games as a striker or attacking midfielder.
