Pascal Groß’ future at Borussia Dortmund continues to spiral further into doubt, going by the latest report from Sports BILD.
The 34-year-old has managed just 234 minutes of playing time across all competitions in Niko Kovač’s side this campaign.
A noticable upturn in form and favour for both Marcel Sabitzer and the ever-improving Felix Nmecha isn’t helping his situation.
In addition, €30million signing Jobe Bellingham is pushing for more playing time and coped well in a 4-1 win over Athletic Club last Wednesday.
The popular German tabloid states that it currently doesn’t look like Groß’ expiring contract will be extended next summer.
Furthermore, the midfielder was not selected for the German national team but still hopes to feature at the 2026 World Cup next summer.
However, Kovač has repeatedly highlighted the importance of Groß at BVB and was surprised by his omission from the latest German squad.
