This could be a decisive crossroads in the campaign for European placement, as Bologna have climbed back up the standings in recent weeks and are just one point behind Lazio.

Their treatment table has emptied out and even Remo Freuler returns from suspension to bolster the midfield.

Castro gets the nod ahead of Thijjs Dallinga upfront, with support from Riccardo Orsolini, Dan Ndoye and Jens Odgaard.

Lazio were in action on Thursday for the Europa League, drawing 1-1 with Viktoria Plzen to go through 3-2 on aggregate and set up a quarter-final against Bodo/Glimt.

Taty Castellanos is back in the squad after a long injury lay-off, but only ready for the bench, so Boulaye Dia leads the attack with support from Matias Vecino, Gustav Isaksen and Zaccagni.

Mario Gila and Niccolò Rovella return to the starting XI, but Adam Marusic is not at 100 per cent.
