Borussia Dortmund are reportedly set to hold a final meeting with Nico Schlotterbeck in mid-March over his future at the club.

Will he stay or will he go? After months of uncertainty, a final decision is expected soon on whether Nico Schlotterbeck will extend his contract with Borussia Dortmund beyond 2027.
According to Sport Bild, a decisive meeting between the player, his agency and the club is scheduled for mid-March.
The entire BVB management will be present, reportedly planning to rely on “emotional persuasion” rather than just numbers to convince the 26-year-old.
It remains unclear whether Schlotterbeck is leaning towards staying or moving elsewhere. Top clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool are said to be closely monitoring his situation.
Even if he chooses not to sign an extension, he could remain with the Black and Yellows for another season before leaving on a free transfer in 2027.
