A cruel Borussia Dortmund fan appeared to ruin a special moment for a fellow disabled supporter by snatching Julian Brandt’s shirt from his grasp.
Brandt had given his kit to the wheelchair user but the other fan stole it and took off and was chased by another supporter.
Dortmund beat Atletico 4-2 at home to overcome a 2-1 deficit from the first leg and qualify for the Champions League semi-finals.
Brandt opened the scoring before goals from Ian Maatsen, Niclas Fullkrug, and Marcel Sabitzer helped deliver Dortmund to the last four for the first time since 2012/13.
A post from a user on X read: ‘When you’re the biggest a*****e among 81,000 people. Snatch Brandt’s gift from a wheelchair user. Lifetime stadium ban, please.’

Marius Wolf, who was on the bench for Dortmund on Tuesday night, replied to the post and indicated that the situation would be addressed. ‘It will be clarified,’ is what he roughly wrote.
It was a bizarre episode, as Brandt didn’t appear to recognise what had taken place and walked away with a smile on his face – despite the perpetrator snatching the kit before his eyes.
The heartless snatcher was beaming from ear to ear and even waved the kit towards the companion of the man in the wheelchair.
Initially, the companion didn’t look so bothered, which adds confusion to the situation.
However, he then waved his arm after the fan and hurried after the fan who had took the kit after a couple of seconds.
Brandt was the heartbeat of Dortmund’s attack in this Champions League thriller and was Mail Sport’s player of the match with an 8.5 rating. He was also the official player of the match.
Jadon Sancho also took another step in the right direction, putting in a solid shift in the iconic yellow as he continued to enjoy his loan from Manchester United.
This will be their first time in the last four since 2013, when Jurgen Klopp led them all the way to the final, where they lost 2-1 to Bayern Munich.
Marius Wolf indicated that they would seek to sort out the situation as he replied to the X post

Jadon Sancho also put in another impressive shift on loan in Germany from Man United
After scoring, Maatsen, on loan from Chelsea, told CBS: ‘It’s such an amazing feeling, you know?
‘I’ve been dreaming of this since I was a kid, especially scoring my first goal in the Champions League. I’m so happy I can’t even describe it.’
‘I always believed [I could] play for Chelsea, but unfortunately it didn’t work out.
‘Now I’m here I’m very grateful for the opportunity. I’m very proud of myself. I kept believing in myself and came here to play my game at the highest level. Today I think I showed a very good performance.’
