Here is our preview of Friday’s UEFA Nations League clash between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Germany, including our predicted lineups.

An injury-hit Germany side travel to Bosnia-Herzegovina in the UEFA Nations League on Friday.

With Marc-André ter Stegen out with a long-term injury, Hoffenheim’s Oliver Baumann is expected to make his Germany debut in goal.

Since Julian Nagelsmann announced his squad, Jamal Musiala, Kai Havertz, Robin Koch, David Raum and Benjamin Henrichs have all been forced to withdraw through injury.

In their place, Jamie Leweling, Jonathan Burkardt, Kevin Schade and Robin Gosens have been called up, leaving Germany with a very different squad.

Niclas Füllkrug is also missing, and in his absence Gladbach striker Tim Kleindienst has been called up for the first time.

He is in with a good chance of starting alongside Deniz Undav should Nagelsmann opt for a two-man partnership up front.

Alternatively, Chris Führich could find his way into the starting line-up if the coach opts to field three players behind a lone striker.

Bosnia-Herzegovina go into the game in poor form, but can at least take heart from the fact that they ended a seven-match losing streak with a 0-0 draw against Hungary in their last outing in September.

As for Germany, their matches in September resulted in a 5-0 victory over Hungary and a 2-2 draw with the Netherlands.

German football fans will be familiar with some of the faces in the Bosnia-Herzegovina squad, including St. Pauli goalkeeper Nikola Vasilj, Stuttgart striker Ermedin Demirovic and former Wolfsburg forward Edin Dzeko.

The two sides last met in a friendly in 2010, when Germany won 3-1 in a game in which Bastian Schweinsteiger scored a brace.
