Bournemouth in advanced talks to land Chelsea star

Bournemouth are in advanced negotiations with Chelsea to secure the services of Axel Disasi, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Blues are open to parting ways with the centre-back, who has fallen out-of-favour under manager Enzo Maresca this year.

Disasi spent the backend of last season on loan with Aston Villa, and he is now expected to make the switch to the Cherries.

Personal terms have already been agreed between the player and Bournemouth. The Cherries are now negotiating a fee.

They are aiming to sign him for around £27 million and a transfer could materialise in the coming days, as per reports.

Chelsea are desperate to lower the squad numbers as they plan to bring in two more signings before the window closes.

Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons are the top targets for the Blues, but their arrivals will largely depend on outgoings.

Apart from Disasi, Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku and Tyrique George could head for the exit door pretty soon.
