According to Sky Germany, VfB Stuttgart’s Jovan Milosevic is on the verge of a move to Werder Bremen.
The 20-year-old is currently undergoing his medical examination and is expected to be loaned out until the end of the season.
The Serbian has been under contract with VfB Stuttgart since 2023, but has so far been unable to establish himself in the first team.
With no clear route into Sebastian Hoeneß’ plans, he was initially loaned to FC St.Gallen and then, in 2025, to Partizan Belgrade.
He quickly developed into an regular starter, and both club and player were interested in extending his contract until the summer.
However, Horst Steffen’s team has now intervened, offering the prospect of playing time at the Bundesliga level.
With Bremen’s recent performances being less than convincing, Milosevic could be the urgently needed reinforcement.
