Juventus defender Gleison Bremer says that he has been out injured for so long that it feels like he is making his Serie A debut against Parma on Sunday evening, which marks his first league start in well over 10 months.

Juventus will host Parma at the Allianz Stadium at 19.45 BST.

Bremer comments on Juventus comeback after 10 months

Bremer has been named in Juventus’s starting line-up in Serie A for the first time since injuring his cruciate ligament (ACL) in a Champions League match against RB Leipzig in October.

“A lot of time has passed, more than 10 months. I’m happy to be back,” Bremer told DAZN ahead of kick-off. “It’s a unique feeling. It feels like a first-time debut in Serie A. I hope to do well and win the game.”

He continued: “Of course, I’m an important player like everyone else. We’re a young team, I’m one of the oldest with Locatelli and Gatti.

“I’m a small solution, it’s not like Bremer comes back and we automatically win the Scudetto. Everyone has to take their responsibilities and bring them onto the pitch.”
