Brentford boss Thomas Frank has addressed his immediate future at the club after being linked with the Manchester United job if they sack Erik ten Hag.
Frank took his Brentford side to Old Trafford on Saturday in what was deemed a potential audition for the United job and the Bees went ahead before the hosts came from behind to claim a valuable victory.
The Dane, 51, has impressed during six years at Brentford and his record has attracted the attention of top Premier League clubs.
United are believed to be one of the interested parties should they ever decide to part ways with Ten Hag following the club’s worst-start to a top-flight campaign, but Frank has reassured Brentford supporters that he isn’t considering a move at this stage.
‘If I ever leave Brentford, in the future it will happen. Who knows what will happen in the future,’ Frank told the Sports Agent podcast.

‘I am probably at one of the best clubs in the world, end of discussion, in terms of alignment, leadership, culture, everything. Why should I ever leave this place? But things can happen.
‘You can want new inspiration, maybe you find another inspiration at your club and you stay for, you never know. For sure if I ever got the offer to go to a big club and I decided to go there, it would probably not make my life better.
‘I think we all know that. Maybe it is a challenge you need to try. I don’t know. It is not something I am thinking about. You don’t know how it would be if you walked into another job. Maybe it will be even better than it is here. I don’t know that.
‘I am just looking at the exposure on certain managers. I don’t think that is part of the football they love. I am happy here. What will happen in the future will happen and we will take it from there.’
Frank’s reassurance to Bees supporters comes as Mail Sport revealed Man United have also identified former Barcelona boss Xavi as a top managerial candidate.

The Spaniard is out of work since leaving the club in bizarre circumstances at the end of last season having initially U-turned on his previous decision to part ways.
Talks have been held with the ex-Catalan coach as United continue to assess all of their options should the club choose to replace Ten Hag.
