Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes is seriously considering a move to the Saudi Pro League with Al Hilal, according to The Athletic.
The Portugal international had a fantastic individual season with the Red Devils. He scored 19 goals and provided 19 assists in all competitions.
Despite his efforts, the Red Devils finished a lowly 15th in the Premier League and also lost the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur.
As a result, the club are set to miss out on revenue of more than £100 million. This could limit their transfer business unless there is a high-profile exit.
It is now reported that Fernandes could provide some spending leeway for United as he is seriously considering a move to the Saudi Pro League.
The Portuguese was initially reluctant to consider the switch, but has changed his stance over the past few days, according to The Athletic.
Fernandes will receive more than £700,000 per week with the transfer while United could get a guaranteed £80m from Al Hilal as part of the deal.
