Goalkeeper:

Frederik Rønnow, Union Berlin

Union Berlin secured a surprising 2-1 win over Stuttgart, and Rønnow played a huge part, pulling off several stunning reflex saves.

Defenders:

Chrislain Matsima, Augsburg

Augsburg delivered a compact defensive display against Freiburg, thanks in large part to Matsima. He put in a rock-solid performance and even got on the scoresheet.

Dayot Upamecano, FC Bayern

Aggressive and dominant, Upamecano won several duels by stepping forward, helping to stifle Leipzig’s attack. He also completed 88% of his passes.

Timo Hübers, FC Köln

Köln celebrated their return to the Bundesliga with a 1-0 win over Mainz. Playing a pivotal part in Köln’s clean sheet, Hübers won five duels and completed 90% of his passes.

Midfielders:

Joshua Kimmich, FC Bayern

Although Kimmich didn’t directly contribute to any goals, he controlled Bayern’s midfield, completing 96% of his passes, registering 0.77 expected assists, and winning three duels.

Jean-Matteo Bahoya, Eintracht Frankfurt

The Frenchman scored a brace, completed 90% of his passes, won eight duels, and completed four of five dribbles.

Michael Olise, FC Bayern

Picking up where he left off last season, Olise delivered another standout performance, capped by a first-half brace

Can Uzun, Eintracht Frankfurt

Given a chance in attacking midfield, Uzun certainly seized it, scoring Frankfurt’s opener and assisting two goals.

Luis Diaz, FC Bayern

Bayern’s marquee signing enjoyed a dream Bundesliga debut, scoring once and providing two assists.

Strikers:

Harry Kane, FC Bayern

Kane bagged a clinical second-half hat-trick to help Bayern extend their lead against Leipzig.

Ilyas Ansah, Union Berlin

Union’s new signing from Paderborn had a Bundesliga debut to remember, scoring twice to lead his side to a 2-1 victory over Stuttgart.
