With the tenth matchday of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season in the books, Bulinews Editor-in-Chief Rune Gjerulff has selected his Team of the Week, which lines up in a 3-5-2 formation:

Goalkeeper:

Oliver Baumann, Hoffenheim

The reliable shot-stopper played a key role in Hoffenheim’s impressive 3-1 win over RB Leipzig, making a total of five saves.

Defenders:

Danilho Doekhi, Union Berlin

Scored his second brace of the season as Union Berlin earned a point against FC Bayern.

Edmond Tapsoba, Bayer Leverkusen

One of many strong Leverkusen performers against Heidenheim, Tapsoba registered an assist, completed 97% of his passes (two key) and remained calm and composed throughout.

Dan-Axel Zagadou, VfB Stuttgart

Having fought his way back from injury, Zagadou delivered a rock-solid performance against Augsburg, winning an incredible 16 duels while completing 80% of his passes.

Midfielders:

Aleix Garcia, Bayer Leverkusen

Completed an astonishing 98% of his passes and set up one of Leverkusen’s goals in their 6-0 rout of Heidenheim.

Ibrahim Maza, Bayer Leverkusen

Arguably man of the match in Leverkusen’s win, Maza completed 94% of his passes, won all four of his dribbles and netted a brace.

Grischa Prömel, Hoffenheim

Once again pivotal in midfield for Hoffenheim, Prömel scored a goal and worked tirelessly, winning four of five ground duels.

Ernest Poku, Bayer Leverkusen

Only played the first half against Heidenheim, but made a major impact, assisting Patrik Schick for an early goal and scoring himself.

Franck Honorat, Borussia Mönchengladbach

A big threat up front, Honorat provided pace and creativity, winning Gladbach’s first penalty against Köln and delivering a perfect assist for Haris Tabakovic’s goal.

Strikers:

Patrik Schick, Bayer Leverkusen

Bagged a brace in Leverkusen’s crushing 6-0 victory over Heidenheim.

Deniz Undav, VfB Stuttgart

Led Stuttgart to a 3-2 victory over Augsburg with two well-taken goals.
