This time, our Bundesliga Team of the Week features players from Hoffenheim, Freiburg, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Augsburg, RB Leipzig.

Goalkeeper

Luca Philipp, Hoffenheim

Still filling in for the injured Oliver Baumann, Philipp produced his best performance of the season, making six saves to help Hoffenheim to a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Stuttgart.

 

Defenders

Kiliann Sildillia, Freiburg

Scored a stunning bicycle kick and helped Freiburg keep a clean sheet in their 5-0 win over Werder.

 

Nico Schlotterbeck, Borussia Dortmund

Played a key role in Dortmund’s 6-0 win over Union, winning five of his six duels and completing 92% of his passes.

 

Hiroki Ito, FC Bayern

Ito has given Bayern a boost since returning from long-term injury. He scored his first goal on Sunday, won four of his six duels and completed 91 percent of the passes he attempted.

 

Midfielders

Pascal Gross, Borussia Dortmund

Provided four (!) assists and made seven key passes as Dortmund thumped Union Berlin 6-0.

 

Ritsu Doan, Freiburg

Scored a late brace in Freiburg’s commanding 5-0 win over Werder.

 

Alexis Claude-Maurice, Augsburg

He took advantage of the situation after Gladbach goalkeeper Jonas Omlin was sent off and scored a wonderful hat-trick in the second half.

 

Michael Olise, FC Bayern

Scored Bayern’s opener, provided three key passes and completed two dribbles against Eintracht.

 

Vincenzo Grifo, Freiburg

Scored twice, including a superb curling free-kick, in Freiburg’s 5-0 win over Werder.

 

Strikers

Serhou Guirassy, Borussia Dortmund

Found the net four (!) times as Dortmund made light work of Union Berlin.

 

Benjamin Sesko, RB Leipzig

Provided an assist and scored from the penalty spot to help Leipzig to a 2-2 draw with Heidenheim after falling two goals behind.
