Sinem Gündoğdu, wife of Inter star Hakan Calhanoglu, hits back at Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez: ‘Some people aren’t loyal to you. They’re loyal to their need for you.’

Calhanoglu’s wife, Sinem, replied to Inter captain Lautaro Martinez on Instagram after the Argentine striker had said that those unwilling to stay at the club should leave this summer.

Lautaro didn’t directly mention Calhanoglu, but Inter President Beppe Marotta later confirmed that El Toro aimed at the Turkish star.

The reply from Calhanoglu came through his wife on Tuesday morning through an Instagram story.

“Some people aren’t loyal to you. They’re loyal to their need for you,” wrote Sinem Gündoğdu via Gazzetta.

“Once their needs change, so does their loyalty. Don’t regret having a good heart, Hakan. All good things come back and multiply.”

Calhanoglu didn’t play for Inter in Club World Cup

Calhanoglu had not featured in the Club World Cup due to an injury and returned to Europe hours before the Flamengo match last night alongside Benjamin Pavard, Yann Bisseck, Piotr Zielinski and Davide Frattesi.

Calhanoglu has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Galatasaray, but Inter President Marotta reiterated that the 31-year-old has not asked to leave the club.
