Marc Cucurella is understood to have been given permission to talk to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr after the Blues accepted a staggering £65 million bid from the Middle Eastern club. The left-back is said to be open to leaving Chelsea after three years and 81 Premier League games, and is set to reportedly triple his salary with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

Cucurella is an extremely popular member of the Chelsea squad, and helped the Blues to the Club World Cup title earlier in the summer and was an important member of Spain’s national side for several years, grabbing 17 caps in the process. Cucurella, who has just turned 27-years-old, is said to be open to the move but it has to be right for his family.

The Blues are said to need to balance the books and are ready to sacrifice one of their best defenders in order to do so. With five Premier League goals last season, Cucurella was one of the stand out performers of the club’s campaign.
