    Multiple sources claim that Chelsea and Milan are expected to shake hands over Mike Maignan’s transfer to Stamford Bridge tomorrow.

    French keeper Maignan is on the verge of joining Chelsea from Milan.

    According to Gazzetta and Calciomercato.com, the 29-year-old has already agreed to personal terms with the Blues, while the two clubs are expected to reach a complete agreement tomorrow, Monday, June 9.

    Gazzetta confirms that Chelsea were unwilling to pay more than €15m for the French goalkeeper, but Milan managed to push the offer slightly higher; as a result, the two clubs are expected to agree on an €18m price tag.

    The Premier League side managed to get Maignan for a relatively low price also because the goalkeeper’s contract at San Siro expires in 2026.

    If Chelsea want to have Maignan available for the Club World Cup, they must announce his purchase before Tuesday at 20:00 CET.

    With Maignan expected to go to Chelsea, the Rossoneri have set their sights on Roma keeper Mile Svilar, who also has a contract expiring in 2026.
