Chelsea fans can look forward to chomping on grub ‘worse than prison food’ when they travel to Servette – and can expect a horrifying hit on the wallet for their tastebuds’ troubles.
The Swiss outfit welcome Chelsea on August 29 after dropping into the Europa Conference League play-off round via defeat to Braga in the Europa League.

Culinary critics were in uproar after seeing the meaty masterpiece on the infamous social media account FootyScran.

‘I’ve seen prisons with better food,’ wrote one fan on X.
‘Pretty sure that violates the Geneva Convention,’ quipped another.
‘The Swiss must have a neutral palate too. I’d rather eat one of their watches,’ one said.
‘For £7.20 you’d expect two slices of bread at least ffs,’ said another.
One simply said: ‘This food made me sad.’
If it is any redemption, the hotdog pictured did come with a small slice of bread and a sachet of ketchup.
At Stamford Bridge, any fan who turns up within 30 minutes of the turnstiles opening can get an early bird deal of £3.50 – under half the price of the Servette disaster.
Chelsea face a hectic start to the season, with matches against Servette on August 22 and 29 fitting into a two-week spell in which they play five fixtures.
