Chelsea fans have branded their recent record as ‘unacceptable’ following their disappointing 1-0 defeat by Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.
The loss means Chelsea have dropped to 14th in the Premier League table, with concerns starting to arise over Mauricio Pochettino‘s side’s ability to find the back of the net after they have failed to score in their last three league matches.
The south London outfit have also failed to score in their last three matches (two losses and a draw) with Pochettino’s side scoring a meagre five goals this season, ranking them as the joint-third lowest scoring side so far this season.
It comes after the Blues have spent over £1billion in new signings since their current owners, Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital took over at the club in May 2022.
Since then, the Blues have had three different managers, with Pochettino taking charge this summer.

Mauricio Pochettino (pictured) urged his side’s owners ‘to have patience’ as the club continues its rebuild
But amid the on-going rebuild at the club, the 2021 Champions League winners are still struggling to secure results on the field, after they finished 12th in the Premier League campaign last season.
Today they once again dropped points at Stamford Bridge to Villa, with Malo Gusto being sent off for a dangerous tackle on Lucas Digne, before Unai Emery’s side made full advantage of the displacement in numbers, with Ollie Watkins scoring on the counter attack.
After the match, Chelsea fans took to Twitter to slam their team with some calling their recent run of games ‘unacceptable’.
One wrote: ‘How did Chelsea go from winning the Champions League in 2021 to not being able to win a single match?? Six wins since October 2022 is just unacceptable man…’
We’re going to continue losing if we continue like this. No more excuses if we continue like this I doubt he’ll [Pochettino] will make it to December.
Another wrote: ‘You can’t win games with this set of players,’ while another said ‘
‘Decisions have been awful. To be a great manager you have to be able to manage the situation. even when you’re at a disadvantage.’
After the game, Pochettino urged the Chelsea owners to be patient and support the plan.
He said: ‘Of course they are disappointed but at the same time they need to support the plan.
Giving his assessment of the match, he said: ‘First half I think we deserved a little bit more,’ said Pochettino. ‘We had the control of the game.
‘Then in the second half we started on top of them but then with the red card the game changed. For 60 minutes with 11 against 11 and then the rest with 10 men it’s two different games.
‘It was a little bit unlucky. How many chances did we have like that one for Aston Villa? We blocked the shot and then the shot comes back and the second one hits the post and goes in.
‘For us, how many times were we one-against-one with Emiliano Martinez. That was a little bit unlucky also, but that happened.’

Yet the fans are starting to grow concerned with the Argentina manager’s work at the club, with some calling him ‘Graham Potter 2.0.’
‘He can’t even make tough bold decisions. His tactics are weak. We’re moving backwards with this guy [Pochettino],’ said one.
Another added: ‘Potter 2.0 is here folks. Get ready to see this reaction every week.’
‘Thiago Silva has to be dropped. Levi Colwill has to play CB. Start Cole Palmer instead of Conor Gallagher. Oh and Pochettino needs to go,’ another said.
