The Premier League have reportedly given Chelsea permission to have Infinite Athlete as their shirt sponsor.
The Blues have been without a sponsor on the front of their strips so far this season after numerous deals had failed to materialise following the end of Three’s deal with the club.
Fans thought the new sponsor had been leaked in a media day ahead of the start of the season.
Now, the club have been given permission by the Premier League to play in the shirts with Infinite Athlete emblazoned across the front, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The sponsorship deal is believed to be worth £40m and will be on both the men’s and women’s teams strips.
The report also states that Chelsea did not get the deal done in time for the new addition to be added to their kits for their Carabao Cup tie against Brighton on Wednesday.
However, it could make its debut next Monday in the club’s west London derby against Fulham, live on talkSPORT.
Infinite Athlete are American technology giants that supply player data to clubs, as well as allowing fans to watch games from multiple camera angles.
Infinite Management was only formed in August and the new firm has investment links to the Chelsea owners, Clearlake Capital and Todd Boehly.
Three’s three-year agreement with the club finished at the end of last season.
