Chelsea link Anselmino’s loan to Dortmund with Chukwuemeka’s sale

Borussia Dortmund are in negotiations with Chelsea for two players.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea informed Borussia Dortmund that they will only allow Aaron Anselmino to sign for Borussia Dortmund on a loan deal if they complete the permanent transfer of Carney Chukwuemeka.

BVB have been looking at extending Chukwuemeka’s loan, but the Premier League club is only interested in a permanent move. However, Anselmino’s transfer will only be on a dry loan as Enzo Maresca confirmed they have decided for him to get playing time elsewhere.

After missing the second half of last season due to a hamstring injury, Anselmino made his debut for Chelsea in the Club World Cup against Benfica. The former Boca Juniors center-back is considered as a main target by Dortmund after Niklas Süle’s serious injury.
