Chelsea don’t want Donnarumma

Chelsea have reportedly decided against pursuing a deal for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer.

The west London giants currently have Robert Sanchez as their regular Premier League goalkeeper with Filip Jorgensen playing in the Cup games.

Sanchez recently helped them win the Club World Cup against PSG, and the Blues have no plans of replacing him between the sticks next season.

Fabrizio Romano reports that the Blues are not in active talks for Donnarumma, and they are happy with the current goalkeeping group.

Hence, they are unlikely to compete for the signature of Donnarumma, who has been told to leave Les Parisiens by manager Luis Enrique.

Donnarumma is likely to move to the Premier League this summer. Manchester City and Manchester United are among admirers.

The former have already opened talks with the player’s entourage and could sign him if Ederson were to leave in the next few days.

Ederson has been linked with a move to Galatasaray.
