Chelsea quoted price to sign Dortmund star

Chelsea will reportedly need to pay around £61 million to land Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha during the summer transfer window.

The Blues currently have Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez as the regular central midfield options with Andrey Santos providing good backup.

However, the club are eyeing another competitor in the squad, given Romeo Lavia and Dario Essugo have been injury prone in their respective careers.

Lavia has barely played for the Blues since his move three years ago and reports claim that he could be sold at the end of the current campaign.

Amidst this, BILD claim that Nmecha has his sights on moving to the Premier League, having recently changed to an English agency.

Chelsea are one of his main admirers alongside the Red Devils, but Dortmund are expected to demand at least £61m for a potential sale.

The Blues are looking at other options too including Nottingham Forest‘s Elliot Anderson and could make a decision heading into the summer.
