Chelsea could make a fresh approach to sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho when the transfer window reopens next month.
The Blues were keen on landing the Argentina international last winter. His agent was spotted at Stamford Bridge, but a deal did not materialise in the end.
They continue to monitor the winger, and The Athletic claim that United manager Ruben Amorim has informed Garnacho that he has no future at the club.
Garnacho was visibly frustrated after being left out of the starting XI for the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur. His relationship with Amorim has soured as a result.
He is also open to pursuing a new challenge elsewhere. Chelsea and Napoli are keen, but he won’t be sold on the cheap. United want at least £60m for his services.
United will be hoping that there is more interest in the attacker in the coming weeks so that they can secure a fee close to their asking price.
