Chelsea are expected to step up their pursuit of Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen ahead of the summer transfer window, as per Fichajes.

The west London giants have had a fantastic Premier League campaign and they are currently fifth in the standings with three games left.

The Blues are on course to qualify for the Champions League and this could pave the way for another huge spending spree this summer.

A new centre-back is one of the priorities for the Blues and reports claim that the club are prepared to step up talks with Huijsen’s entourage.

Huijsen has a release clause worth 50 million pounds in his contract and he is expected to make a final decision on his future when the season ends.
