Chelsea face an important summer in the transfer market as they look to improve their squad further following Enzo Maresca’s arrival.
Mauricio Pochettino joined the Blues last summer, however he lasted just 11 months in charge and left by mutual consent on 21 May after a post-season review meeting.
The Blues subsequently announced on 3 June that Maresca had been appointed as their new manager.
Although Todd Boehly has overseen a spend of more than €1.1 billion on new players since arriving at the club in 2022, there has been no success to show for it, with the Stamford Bridge outfit finishing 12th in his first campaign as owner and sixth in 2023-24.
However, Chelsea continue to target a raft of promising young players, despite the evident need for more experience in the dressing room.
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen headlines Chelsea’s summer transfer targets, and many other deals could well be completed in a bid to get their squad into shape.
The west London club have already signed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Filip Jorgensen, Omari Kellyman, Aaron Anselmino, Renato Veiga, Caleb Wiley, Marc Guiu and Tosin Adarabioyo this summer, while Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez will arrive in 2025.
In addition, Chelsea have also sold the likes of Ian Maatsen, Lewis Hall and Omari Hutchinson, with Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva departing on free transfers.
Our Chelsea transfer live blog brings you all the latest news surrounding the Blues, including exclusives from our own reporters as well as checking out what the other big names are saying (including the likes of Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein).
The Blues are expected to see several more players come and go this summer, and the Stamford Bridge rumour mill is already in full swing.

Romano reveals ‘CRAZY’ hours in triple deal
Fabrizio Romano has detailed the “crazy” triple deal that will take Samu Omorodion to Chelsea from Atletico Madrid, with Conor Gallagher moving in the opposite direction.
“Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid from Manchester City will be signed in the next days. Everything is being planned in terms of documents. It will be a record sale for Man City. They’ll earn €75 million plus €20m in add-ons. Everything is agreed, despite some tension on Tuesday in the negotiations between agent and club, now everything’s OK,” Romano told his YouTube channel.
“The only way to do that deal was to sell Samu Omorodion. It was a matter of Financial Fair Play (FFP). Samu Omorodion will become a new Chelsea player: here we go! Obviously we wait for the formal steps, but the agreement is OK. Atletico Madrid will receive €40m, the value of the exit deal for Omorodion.
“Atleti gave the green light after Chelsea already had a bid rejected last June – €30m plus add-ons. They wanted to keep the player, but then Atletico understood they had the chance to sell Julian Alvarez.
“The only way to see Omorodion at Chelsea was to do a kind of swap – a separate deal but the same discussion. And this was for Conor Gallagher to leave Chelsea. They wanted to find a solution with Atletico Madrid, whose full focus was always Gallagher. He’ll sign a five-year contract for a €42m transfer fee. It’s a really important contract for Chelsea in terms of FFP.
“This crazy domino is happening after bid tension on Tuesday, when the deal was in danger.”
