Mykhailo Mudryk is at the ideal club for him to maximise his football ability and should not consider leaving.

That is according to SciSports’ sophisticated player evaluation model which analyses which clubs best suit certain players.

The model assesses factors such as club rank, potential development, playing time, playing style, formation, club status and likeliness in order to generate a club fit rating out of 100.

The higher the rating, the better fit the player is for that club.

And SciSports deduced that Chelsea are the best fit in world football for Mudryk with a club fit rating of 86.

The second best club fit is Barcelona with 79, followed by Real Madrid and RB Leipzig in joint-third with 78.

Next on the list is AS Roma, Inter Milan and PSG with a club fit rating of 77.

Other good fits are Aston Villa and Marseille on 74 and Man City on 73.

Completing the best 15 club fits for Mudryk are Sevilla and Villarreal on 72, Benfica on 71, and then Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal and Lyon on 70.

So for those who believe that Mudryk must leave Chelsea after a dismal first year at Stamford Bridge, SciSports’ findings would suggest that the Ukrainian would be better served staying.

Mudryk form at Chelsea

Mudryk joined Chelsea for €100 million in January after the Blues hijacked Arsenal’s deal for the Ukrainian winger.

However, Mudryk has flopped badly at Stamford Bridge.

He has managed just one goal and two assists in 29 appearances amidst a string of poor performances.

Mudryk’s poor form resulted in him dropping down the attacking pecking order, with manager Mauricio Pochettino publicly stating that the player still must improve in a number of areas.

He also struggled during Ukraine’s draw with Italy last week, although he was unlucky not to be awarded as late penalty following a foul by Bryan Cristante.
