Chelsea’s Joao Felix still an option for Milan: Jorge Mendes meeting planned for Rossoneri – Football Italia – January 31 latest

Reports in Italy claim that Milan are still interested in pursuing a deal with Chelsea for Portugal international Joao Felix, even though the Rossoneri are closing in on a deal to sign Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord. 

The Rossoneri could be in for a hectic end to the January transfer window. The club have submitted a new and improved bid to Feyenoord for Gimenez, there are ongoing talks for loan moves involving both Alvaro Morata and Francesco Camarda, while Tottenham have submitted a bid for centre-back Fikayo Tomori. 

However, reports in Italy on Friday evening claim that Milan are still considering a deal for Joao Felix as well as Gimenez.

According to reports from Alfredo Pedulla, high-profile agent Jorge Mendes, who represents Joao Felix as well as Milan coach Sergio Conceicao, is currently in Italy and is expected to meet with Rossoneri representatives before the close of the January transfer window. 

Pedulla reports that Mendes is in Torino to watch his son play a game of football, and that he will then speak with Milan about the possibility of signing Joao Felix before the transfer deadline.
