AC Milan forward Christian Pulisic is yet to sign a new contract at the club, despite reaching an agreement with the Serie A giants earlier this year.

The United States of America international has two years remaining on his current deal at San Siro and an exit could potentially be on the cards next summer if the club are unable to finalise fresh terms.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed a stellar start to the 2025-26 season, scoring four goals in five games, but Milan are yet to announce his proposed new deal.

Pulisic reached a verbal agreement over a new contract earlier this year, according to Matteo Moretto (via GOAL), however the deal was delayed as the 27-year-old wanted to evaluate Milan’s decisions in the transfer market and assess who they selected as their new head coach.

However, while an agreement was reached on a deal until 2028, it’s understood that Milan have not yet re-opened talks with Pulisic.

Both parties reportedly want the situation to be resolved, but no meetings have been scheduled, according to Moretto, and Milan will not be able to finalise a deal quickly. As a result, Pulisic’s proposed contract renewal is now on indefinite hold until negotiations restart.

Christian Pulisic wants to stay at AC Milan

It has been reported that Pulisic is prioritising an extended stay at San Siro and he confirmed as much during a press conference back in March. He told reporters: “This club has faith in me and it’s a pleasure to be here every day. I want to continue here.”

However, a new deal has not yet been announced and questions over the American’s long-term future at San Siro are expected to intensify if a contract conclusion isn’t reached soon.

Pulisic has scored 36 goals in 105 appearances for Milan, following his move from Chelsea in 2023, and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €47.9 million.
