Werder Bremen picked up their fourth away win of the season, beating FC St. Pauli 2-0 at the Millerntor-Stadion on Saturday evening.

The Green and Whites opened the scoring midway through the first half through Derrick Köhn. The wing-back received a through ball from Marco Grüll, took a touch and unleashed a shot into the far corner.

Marvin Ducksch doubled the lead in the 54th minute, latching onto a long ball from Mitchell Weiser and firing home at the near post.

St. Pauli tried to get back into the game but couldn’t change the scoreline as Werder held on for the win.

The win lifts Werder up to seventh in the table, while St. Pauli remain 15th.
