    Como are ready to send an offer to Milan defender Malick Thiaw and are in talks with Celta Vigo for Carl Starfelt.

    Sources with direct knowledge of the matter confirm the news first reported by Radio Rossonera on Thursday.

    I’ve been informed that Como are ready to offer Thiaw a salary exceeding €4m per season, including add-ons. The Azzurri hope to bring both Thiaw and Alvaro Morata to the Stadio Sinigaglia this summer.

    Milan formally own Morata, but the Spaniard is out on loan at Galatasaray until December 31, 2025. The Turkish giants must give their approval for Morata’s transfer to Como, but are expected to do so soon.

    Thiaw is not the only centre-back targeted by Fabregas as Como plan to sign two new players in central defence. Celta Vigo’s Carl Starfelt, in fact, is also on their agenda, and the club is working relentlessly to get the deal done for more than €10m.
